Thoughts on Aging:
From an Aging Priest

The reflections that follow are from Monsignor Daniel J. Hermes, a diocesan priest who retired from full-time ministry in June, 2018, after 49 years in parish ministry.  So now, at 76 years old, the topic of “aging” holds more than casual interest for him.  About these reflections he states:

One of the joys of aging is having more time to think, pray, and reflect on many topics, including aging.  There are already many good resources on the topic, but I thought it would be helpful to share some thoughts from the perspective of our faith from someone right in the midst of aging—so here goes!
