E spend three months with Elizabeth and di three long hours for di foot of di Cross. This one show how deep e take give imself to wetin e commit to. E no shake for im love, and e remain faithful reach di end.
Faithfulness na virtue wey each of us must show when we see the hardship wey another person dey face. When we see other people wey dey in need, dey suffer, dey sorrow or wey people dey persecute, we must choose wetin we go do. We go either turn away because of weakness and selfishness, or we go turn to them, help them carry their crosses and give them support and strength.
Today, reflect on the faithfulness of our Blessed Mother. Throughout her life, she remain faithful as friend, relative, wife and mother. She no ever waver for the duty wey she suppose do, no matter how small or how heavy the burden be. Reflect on the ways wey God dey call you to stand firm for another person without wavering. You dey willing? You ready to help another person without delay? You dey willing to understand their wounds and show them heart wey full of compassion? Try to embrace this holy virtue of our Blessed Mother and live by am. Choose to reach out to people wey dey in need and stand beside the crosses of the people wey God don give you to love.
My dearest Mother, your faithfulness to Elizabeth during those three months show beautiful example of care, concern and service. Help me follow your example and look every day for the chances wey I don get to love people wey dey in need. Make I dey ready to serve for big and small ways, and make I no ever waver for my calling to love.
My dearest Mother, you remain faithful reach the end as you stand before the Cross of your Son with perfect faithfulness. Na your motherly heart give you the strength to stand and gaze at your beloved Son as He dey suffer deep agony. Make I no ever turn away from my crosses or the crosses wey other people dey carry. Pray for me, make I too be shining example of faithful love to all the people wey dem don put under my care.
My precious Lord, I give myself fully to You with all my heart, soul, mind and strength. I commit myself to gaze at You for Your agony and pain. Help me to see You too for other people and for their sufferings. Help me imitate the faithfulness of Your own dear mother, so that I fit be pillar of strength for people wey dey in need. I love You, my Lord. Help me love You with everything wey I be.
